What to Know About Your Stay

Welcome to St. George Island, a charming and quiet Southern Maryland escape. This small island offers a peaceful retreat with a single local restaurant and a relaxed 30mph speed limit that sets the tone for island life. Whether you’re exploring by land or venturing out on the water, getting around is a breeze. Plus, our Airbnb provides plenty of parking to make your stay even more convenient.

  • All units run independently but MUST be on the same heat or AC setting.

When Fishing

Please use 5 gallon buckets located in the garage for any bait or fish being kept. Do NOT use any of the items found in the kitchen such as mixing bowls!

  • If any fish or seafood products wish to be cooked, cook outside using the grill also located in the garage.

  • Anything on the pier has the potential to fly off, make sure everything is secured down to not lose any belongings.

Getting Here:
House is kind of hidden. At the end of Arthur Fenwick lane turn left beside 2 story garage then right and go around the back. Pull on to grass right to the front door.

ARRIVAL:

Checkout before 11:00 AM

  • Please put all dirty dishes in the dishwasher.

  • Put all towels, rags, and linens on the floor by the washer and dryer.

  • Clear the fridge and shelves of any food you may have brought with you.

  • Put all trash in the large, black garbage can located in front of the 2-story gray garage.

  • Pull up crab pots and wrap rope around pier if used to ensure they stay on the pier.

  • Turn off lights and leave HVAC units at 74°.

  • Lock all the doors.

  • Double check and make sure you have all of your belongings.

  • Submit your review and give Island Time feedback!

CHECK OUT:

HOUSE RULES

  • No pets allowed.

  • No smoking in the house. Smoking is allowed outside with butts to be disposed of properly.

  • Please respect the items we provide and leave it for the next guest to enjoy as well.

  • If something breaks, leave it on the kitchen island so it can be replaced.

  • Please put a dish towel under hot pots and pans on the kitchen countertops.

  • Be mindful of staining the kitchen countertops.

  • Please do not leave the fireplace on for long periods of time.

  • Be mindful of the surrounding neighbors.

  • Please abide by check out times unless agreed upon prior with the host.

  • Speed limit is 30mph on the island and would appreciate guests driving like your children lived here. Life jackets are in the bedroom closets in all sizes.

  • Please drive slowly when coming down the driveway.

  • If wine is stocked it’s on a good faith basis of $15 per bottle (funds can be left on counter,
    cash app etc.)

  • Some jams, jellies and condiments are provided. I would prefer they not be taken home.

  • Please be mindful of noise after 11pm.

The Piney Point Lighthouse Museum is a two-story structure on the north campus of the park and houses museum exhibits, the Piney Point Museum Store, and offers restrooms and visitor information. Guests are encouraged to begin their visitor experience at the museum where you can sign in, pay admission and obtain a tour guide who will then provide escort to the Potomac River Maritime Exhibit.
